Due to its relatively high requirements for materials, the requirements for the performance of the sand dryer are also relatively high. The requirements for water control technology are particularly important, which is directly related to the production efficiency of our equipment!


Under the condition of ensuring the balance of the heat load of the sand dryer and the stability of the thermal engineering principles, make the moisture of the dried materials consistent, and make the hot blast stove supply heat at a constant load, thereby improving the service life of the sand dryer and the electrostatic precipitator; in addition, it can also make the tail gas temperature easier to grasp and control. Mechanical feeding generally adopts the method of elevator + intermediate silo + disc feeder. The former is suitable for materials with low moisture and low viscosity. Almost all rotary drum dryers adopt inclined chute feeding. Because the furnace temperature is high and the load changes greatly, the chute is scoured and oxidized by the hot flue gas, and the deformation and damage are very serious. Moreover, replacement is quite troublesome. The more serious problem is that the bent and deformed chute often pries the furnace top or the fire baffle seal of the drying equipment, causing air and material leakage, which will greatly reduce the thermal efficiency and service life of the sand dryer. Whether the chute is made of steel pipe or cast iron pipe, the problem of its short service life cannot be well solved. In order to extend the service life of the feeding pipe of the sand dryer, the inclined chute can be changed to the method of "straight pipe + lower chute plate". The upper section is a straight pipe type, and the straight pipe is built into the furnace wall to avoid high-temperature oxidation and the scouring of hot flue gas; the lower section is an inclined chute plate, which connects the materials falling from the straight pipe and then slides the materials into the dryer along the inclined surface. The inclined chute plate is made of refractory cast iron plate and is supported by the built-up refractory bricks below. High-efficiency and low-energy-consuming drying equipment meets the needs of enterprise development.
