The crushing sand making machine, also known as the impact sand making machine or vertical shaft sand making machine, is a special equipment for crushing hard and brittle materials such as rocks and ores into artificial sand. It flings materials out via a high-speed rotating impeller and adopts the principles of impact, friction and shearing in the "stone-on-stone" or "stone-on-iron" crushing mode to efficiently produce high-quality sand and gravel aggregates with good particle shape and controllable gradation. It is widely used in the infrastructure construction fields such as architecture, transportation and hydropower engineering.

Working Principle: In the "stone-on-stone" mode, materials are flung out by the impeller, then crushed by high-speed impact with the cavity wall liners and mutual collision between materials, yielding finished products with excellent particle shape and making it suitable for material shaping. In the "stone-on-iron" mode, materials are hurled out by the impeller and then strike the wear-resistant hammers on the impeller for secondary crushing, featuring high efficiency and being ideal for sand making. The optional roll crusher unit adopts an extrusion crushing method, where materials are crushed by the extrusion and shearing forces generated by the relative rotation of two rollers.
